Teach at one of our classes

A passion for teaching? Volunteering in our classrooms lets you share your expertise, support students, and collaborate with our teachers, creating a rewarding experience for everyone involved.

Fluent English and a minimum two-month commitment are required. At this stage, COSD does not have the financial capacity to provide compensation, accommodation, or an allowance for food; this will all need to be at the volunteer’s expense. However, COSD does not charge any fee for a volunteer placement.

Running Workshop to help spread our mission

Do you possess skills or expertise that could benefit our students or the community? We invite you to share your knowledge by leading workshops! Past volunteers have hosted sessions on health, music, yoga, career guidance, personal growth, STEM, and more. We welcome unique interests, so don’t hesitate to propose a workshop on your passion!

Train our staffs at your profession

Regardless of the specific context, your expertise in training and development would be highly valuable. We welcome insights and experience in coaching teachers, managers, or individuals seeking to elevate their performance. What our volunteers say

I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer for three months at the Cambodia Organization for Social Development (COSD) in Prey Thmei Village, just outside of Siem Reap. My experience there was truly transformative for me, the students, and the community. During my time at COSD, I taught English to eager and enthusiastic students. Their thirst for knowledge and determination to improve their futures was truly inspiring. In addition to teaching, I contributed to the school's development by helping with various facilities projects, including painting a new computer lab to provide students with essential digital skills. COSD offers free education to students aged 5-17, covering English, math, and computer skills. This comprehensive curriculum equips students with the necessary tools to succeed in their future endeavors. I also had the chance to work on web design and photography, capturing the vibrant spirit of the school and its community. This helped COSD enhance its online presence and allowed me to document and share the incredible stories of the students and teachers who make COSD a beacon of hope and opportunity. The dedication of the COSD teaching staff, the enthusiasm of the students, and the warmth of the local community made my time in Cambodia unforgettable.
